Goulburn is Australia’s First Inland City, and as such, is rich in history, featuring some classic old. churches, historic railway, the famous Big Merino and Rocky Hill War Memorial with WWII museum. Goulburn has country charm, conveniently located 2 hours from Sydney & an hour from Canberra by car. It is a small distance east of the peak ridge of the Great Dividing Range and is 690 metres (2,264 ft) above sea level. The Wollondilly River, with its walking track, is a great attraction, as is the historic waterworks and steam museum, Belmore and Victoria Park and so much more!
Born and raised in this friendly town, started running February 2018 at age 46 when parkrun was brought to town. Regularly run 40-50km a week, mostly in Goulburn, and love exploring!

Will tailor something to your tastes, Goulburn offers such variety, from road based running, to cross country exploring, Lots of dirt and grass trails, with technical or non technical options. Many concrete paths along the Wollondilly River, with options of dirt and grass trails beside it as well. We can incorporate the old railway line, wetlands, run with kangaroos, sight rabbits and foxes, and other wildlife. Lots of history to explore, fantastic scenery, views of the city atop Rocky Hill, with hills and steps for a challenge, or there’s Plenty of more level running if you prefer.
