Privacy Statement

This Privacy Statement sets out the data processing practices of for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation and related legislation, through the use of the internet and the World Wide Web. Please read and agree to these terms prior to sending us your details in any electronic communications or for any online transaction.

We will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information. Of course, data transmission over the internet is inherently insecure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet. 

What kind of personal data does collect?

We can’t book your SightRunning tour without some basic information - including, but not limited to your name, preferred contact details, the names of anybody travelling with you; your payment information, so when you use our services there are certain pieces of information we ask for. In addition to this, we also collect information from your computer, phone, tablet or other device you are using to access our services. This includes the IP address, the browser you use, and your language settings. There are also situations in which we receive information about you from others or automatically collect other information. 

Why does collect and use your personal data?

The main purpose we ask you for personal details is to help administer your online Tour Reservations and ensure you get the best service possible.  We may also use the details you provide us for the provision of information about services, and for administration, sales and marketing. We might use your personal data to contact you and to inform you of the latest deals and special offers and other products or services which we believe may be of interest to you.

How does share your data with third parties?

There are different parties integrated into the services in various ways and for various reasons. The primary purpose is to share your data relevant for your Tour with the Tour Provider to complete your Tour Reservation. There are also other parties which can receive some of your data, which are parties we involve to provide you with the SightRunning Guide services. This includes for example - financial institutions, advertisers, subsidiaries of and other affiliates, or in some cases, if we are required by applicable law, governmental or other authorities. We do not sell or rent your personal data. 


You acknowledge and agree to transfer your personal data to and that, in order to book your tour, your personal information could be transfered to countries outside Beligum that do not have the same standard of privacy laws as in Belgium.

As a tour participant and/or a tour guide, the information you receive from us could be used only for the relevant tour, you are not allowed to use any information for any other purposes without the approval of and/or when it is not allowed by the relevant law in the country that you domicile. All the information you receive from us should not be used in any means after the tour. You agree to indemnify and hold and its officers, directors, employees and agents harmless from any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with any misuse of the information.

Given that the internet is a global environment, using the internet to collect and process personal data necessarily involves the transmission of data internationally. Therefore, by browsing this website and communicating electronically with us, you acknowledge and agree to our processing of your personal data in this way. respects your right of privacy. If you tell us that you do not wish to have your personal information used in the ways we have specified, we will respect your wishes. You have a right to apply for a copy of the information about you that we hold (for which we may charge a small fee) and to have any inaccuracies corrected by contacting us.

If you do not wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please e-mail us, but remember that if you do so we will be unable to provide you with information about latest services, products etc.


Cookies and Website Traffic Analysis

When users enter's website their computers will automatically be issued with 'cookies'. Cookies are text files which identify users' computers to's server. The website then creates "session" cookies to store some of the preferences of users moving around the website, eg retaining a low graphics text-only preference. Cookies in themselves do not identify individual users but identify only the computer used and they are deleted on departure from the website.

Many websites do this to track traffic flows, whenever users visit those websites.

We use third-party cookies including Facebook Pixel which may be used in order to show you more relevant ads from our partners, when you use Facebook Instagram or Messenger.'s website also uses third-party cookies to measure use of the website including number of visitors, how frequently pages are viewed, and the city and country of origin of users. This helps to determine what is popular and can influence future content and development. For this purpose, uses statistical analyisis tools to measure and analyse usage of the website. The information collected by will include IP Address, pages visited, browser type and operating system. The data will not be used to identify any user personally.

Users have the opportunity to set their computers to accept all cookies, to notify them when a cookie is issued, or not to receive cookies at any time. The last of these means that certain personalised services cannot then be provided to that user eg retaining saved log-in details to allow you quick access on your next visit.
